The drama in Bigg Boss 19 continues to escalate, with the latest captaincy task setting off a chain of unexpected events. In the task, housemates were divided into Team Red and Team Blue, with Amaal Mallik leading the red team and Baseer Ali heading the blue side.
Red Team Dominates the Task
Amaal’s red team, consisting of Abhishek Bajaj, Tanya Mittal, Mridul Tiwari, Awez Darbar, Ashnoor Kaur, Pranit More, and Farhana Bhat, started strong by winning the first round. The blue team, which included Baseer Ali, Zeishan Quadri, Nagma Mirajkar, Neelam Giri, and Shehbaz Badesha, couldn’t catch up despite a few tense moments.
In the second round, teams were asked to name the most unhygienic housemate. Red chose Shehbaz, while blue picked Abhishek. The third round focused on naming the most toxic contestant, where red voted Farhana. In the fourth and final round, both teams agreed on Kunickaa Sadanand as the “Khoon chosne wala sadasya” (bloodsucking member). With a clear edge in performance, Team Red won the overall task.

Captaincy Tie Between Amaal and Mridul
After the task, the housemates had to vote for the new captain between Amaal Mallik and Mridul Tiwari, both receiving equal votes initially. A tie-breaker vote was held, and Amaal Mallik emerged as the winner. BB Tak later confirmed his appointment as captain.
However, tensions rose quickly. Zeishan Quadri, once close to Amaal, voiced concerns over his changed attitude post-captaincy. Meanwhile, Farhana Bhat openly rebelled against Amaal’s rules, leading to a heated argument.
