In a first-of-its-kind move, the makers of Bigg Boss 19 are handing over the power to the audience with a unique initiative titled ‘Fans Ka Faisla’, in line with this season’s democracy-themed format. Hosted by Salman Khan, the show’s new promo on JioHotstar reveals that viewers will choose between two contenders for a single spot in the Bigg Boss house.
Shehbaz vs Mridul: Fans to Decide
The competition is between Shehbaz Badesha, brother of former contestant Shehnaaz Gill, and Mridul Tiwari, a popular YouTuber known for his channel The MriDul with over 18 million subscribers. Voting is now live on the JioHotstar app and will remain open until 11:59 PM on August 21. The winner will be revealed during the Grand Premiere with a dramatic entry.
Shehbaz, who has previously appeared briefly on the show, promises to bring energy and entertainment: “This time, I want to be more than a guest. I’m here to shake things up—unfiltered, unpredictable, and unapologetically me.”
Mridul, on the other hand, is excited to bring his authenticity and fearless game to the house: “I don’t believe in sugar-coating. I’m here for real competition and to prove myself in front of a national audience.”

Parliament-Themed House & Contestant Rumours
This season’s theme, ‘Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar’, will transform the house into a Parliament-style battleground where contestants hold decision-making powers.
