Kajol brought her signature charm to the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 19, joining Salman Khan to promote the second season of her legal drama The Trial. She was accompanied by co-star Jisshu Sengupta, and their appearance quickly became one of the episode’s most entertaining highlights.
While Salman introduced the housemates, Jisshu jokingly pointed out Tanya Mittal, saying, “Sir, yeh Tanya Mittal badi kamaal ki hai — 150 bodyguards and a huge saree collection!” Kajol added to the fun with a quick quip, “Iska tailor ka number lena padega,” leaving everyone in splits. Salman chimed in, speculating Tanya might run a saree and oil business!
The segment took a nostalgic turn as Salman and Kajol recreated their iconic song Odhli Chunariya from Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya (1998). The duo even performed Ajay Devgn’s famous steps from Singham and Son of Sardaar 2, sparking cheers from the audience and fans online.
The Trial: Season 2, inspired by The Good Wife, continues Nayanka’s (Kajol) gripping journey through courtroom battles and political challenges as she tries to rebuild her life. Directed by Umesh Bist and produced by Banijay Asia, the series streams on JioHotstar and features Jisshu Sengupta, Sheeba Chaddha, Kubbra Sait, Alyy Khan, and others.
