Reality TV fans can breathe a sigh of relief! Popular shows Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 and Bigg Boss 19 have not been cancelled, despite earlier rumours suggesting otherwise. According to a recent report by Pinkvilla, the much-loved shows are merely facing a delay due to behind-the-scenes production issues.
The confusion began when viral rumours claimed that Banijay Asia, the production house behind both shows, had pulled out, putting the upcoming seasons in jeopardy. This caused concern among fans, especially with Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 hosted by Rohit Shetty expected to premiere in July. Names of probable contestants like Munawar Faruqui and Elvish Yadav had already created a buzz, and many celebrities were reportedly locked in for the shoot.
However, as per the Pinkvilla report, Colors TV is now actively looking for new production partners following Banijay Asia’s exit. The fallout reportedly began about two months ago, with internal disagreements eventually leading Endemol to withdraw from its partnership with Colors TV just two weeks ago. This sudden shake-up has led to a temporary halt in pre-production activities.
