Having had a successful stint with Bigg Boss 18, the popular reality show is set to come back with season 19 and bigger than before! Salman Khan having been confirmed to host once again, Bigg Boss 19 is set to bring new energy, new faces, and a longer time frame that will make it the longest-running season ever in the history of the show.
Bigg Boss 19 to Air for More Than 5 Months
According to a report from Pinkvilla, Bigg Boss 19 will begin on July 30, 2025, and go on till January 2026, lasting more than 5.5 months. The show has traditionally aired for three months, with premieres typically in September or October. The early premiere is designed to provide viewers with a long stretch of drama, competition, and entertainment.
Interestingly, Bigg Boss OTT, a digital spin-off of the show previously hosted by Karan Johar, Salman Khan, and Anil Kapoor, will not make an appearance this year. This has been done to concentrate exclusively on the flagship television season. Previous OTT winners have been Divya Agarwal, Elvish Yadav, and Sana Makbul.
Salman Khan’s Continued Reign as Host
Bigg Boss 19 is Salman Khan’s 16th season as the host, a collaboration that dates back more than a decade. His trademark charisma, no-nonsense attitude, and blunt hosting—particularly in Weekend Ka Vaar have all contributed to the show’s consistent popularity. His promo shoot, rumored to be later in June 2025, is something his fans always look forward to.
