The Bigg Boss 19 house witnessed a major shake-up this week with a surprise mid-week eviction that unfolded during a live audience session. In an unprecedented twist, viewers were invited inside the house to vote in real time, deciding the fate of the contestants themselves.
Earlier in the week, the show had already delivered a dramatic double eviction, sending Abhishek Bajaj and Neelam Giri home. Their exit left both housemates and fans emotional, especially Abhishek’s elimination, which caused a storm on social media. Viewers expressed outrage, with many accusing Pranit More of being “dogla” after he chose to save Ashnoor Kaur over Abhishek.
The mid-week twist saw contestants divided into three teams — Team Gaurav, Team Kunickaa, and Team Shehbaaz — who competed in tasks to impress the live audience. When the votes were counted, Team Shehbaaz received the fewest votes, pushing Shehbaz Badesha, Ashnoor Kaur, and Malti Chahar into the danger zone. Bigg Boss then instructed housemates to internally vote among the three nominees to decide who would leave the show.
After an emotional and tense voting process, multiple fan pages and entertainment portals reported that Mridul Tiwari had been evicted. A popular Bigg Boss fan account shared the update on X, writing, “Mridul Tiwari is EVICTED from the #BiggBoss19 house in mid-week eviction twist through Live Audiences (Via Filmwindow).”

Though the news quickly went viral, there has been no official confirmation from the show’s makers or platforms Hotstar and Colors TV. If true, Mridul’s eviction marks one of the most unexpected moments of the season.

Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan, streams on Hotstar at 9 PM and airs on Colors TV at 10:30 PM nightly.
