CID 2: Abhijeet and ACP Ayushmaan Clash Over Pradyuman’s Death! Parth Samthaan’s Character Sparks a Heated Argument

The iconic crime thriller CID is back with a bang, and this time, it’s fiercer than ever. With Parth Samthaan stepping into the role of ACP Ayushmaan in CID 2, the tone of the show has taken a dramatic turn. The young ACP’s stern attitude and no-nonsense leadership have stirred tension among the original CID team members, Daya and Abhijeet, still grieving the loss of their legendary leader, ACP Pradyuman.

Friction Within the Team

In a recent promo released by Sony Entertainment Television, Ayushmaan asserts his authority with a firm statement: “Only thing that impresses me is results.” Daya replies confidently, “Don’t you worry ACP sir, in just a couple of days you will have the results: A dead Barbosa.” But Ayushmaan fires back, “You guys are CID officers, not gangsters. You just catch Barbosa. Law and order will take care of the rest.” Abhijeet’s rebellious tone follows: “We will decide Barbosa’s punishment,” adding fuel to the fire.

The emotional moment reaches a peak when Ayushmaan confronts the team, saying, “Kab tak ACP Pradyuman ki maut par aansu bahaaoge? Ye jo dard hai, emotions, aansu inn sabki potli bana kar office ke bahar latka kar aaya karo.” His blunt words leave Daya and Abhijeet deeply offended, setting up a compelling clash of ideologies.
