The incident occurred during introductions on stage, where Divyanka greeted Elvish by saying, “Hi Samarth,” leading to laughter from co-stars Aly Goni, Krushna Abhishek, and others. Though Divyanka quickly apologized and joked that the clip should be edited out to avoid trolling, Elvish’s fans did not take it lightly.

On July 21, Divyanka took to her Instagram to respond to the backlash. In a sharply worded comment, she thanked genuine Elvish supporters and addressed the trolls directly. “True fans keep their idol’s respect in mind. Double thanks to the trollers for increasing my engagement,” she wrote. She added, “My inner systumm automatically bounces back your foul language to you and your family. Karma!”

She concluded her message with a positive note for those showing kindness, saying, “Those being nice shall always be blessed… says my core divinity!”
