Cousin Priyanka Chopra also took to Instagram to mourn the loss of her paternal uncle. In a touching tribute, she wrote, “You’ll always be in our hearts. Rest easy Raman uncle (fufaji). Om Shanti.”
Another cousin, actress Meera Chopra, spoke to Instant Bollywood during an event, expressing her shock and sorrow. “I just got to know. Vicky (Jain) told me about his demise. I knew he was in the hospital. It’s very sad. Losing a parent is the worst. Mannara and Mitali were both very close to him. It was a close-knit family.”
A prayer meet was also held in New Delhi to honor the memory of Mannara’s father. As the actress returns to work, she carries the strength and memories of her father with her, supported by a strong network of love and empathy.
