Naagin, the supernatural drama which has been an instant hit among the audience since its inception, has been one of the most favorite shows on television for many years. Mouni Roy’s first season was a blockbuster, and every season thereafter retained the TRP ratings. Throughout the years, the role of Naagin has been portrayed by several actresses, including Nia Sharma, Surbhi Jyoti, Jasmin Bhasin, Hina Khan, Adaa Khan, Tejasswi Prakash, and Surbhi Chandna.

With the conclusion of season six, viewers are awaiting an official statement from the creators on Naagin 7, as they expect the latest storylines and characters in it. Not too long ago, Ekta Kapoor, who produced the series, released a video discussing talks she had with her creative team on the latest season. There is great anticipation and excitement, especially as the host confirmed the latest season launch.
Within no time, guesses for the protagonist role in the next season surfaced, and various social media fans posted that the protagonist should be none other than Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, the famous face from her stint in Bigg Boss 16. Others pointed out names such as Chaahat Pandey and Shivangi Joshi.
Priyanka, however, has denied her involvement with Naagin 7 time and again. She even talked about the rumors in an interview with BollywoodLife, saying, “No, I am not doing Naagin. These rumors have been going on since I left Bigg Boss 16, and now I am clarifying that I am not a part of the show.”
Amid the speculation, Priyanka uploaded a mirror selfie to Instagram with a phone cover that had a snake design on it. Many thought she was actually hinting that it was about her character for the show, but she still is unconvinced by her denial. Fans will have to wait and see who actually gets the iconic role of Naagin in the future season.
