TV’s favorite pair, Rohit Purohit and Sheena Bajaj, have entered a lovely new chapter of life—parenthood! The couple recently gave birth to their first child, a baby boy, and fans couldn’t be happier.
Sweet Announcement Melts Hearts
The beaming parents posted the happy news on Instagram with an emotive post which read simply, “It’s a boy #Blessed.” The first photo showed Rohit cradling Sheena’s baby bump lovingly, followed by a thank-you note: “Thank you for your love, support, and blessings! – Rohit & Sheena.” Congratulations and messages of love flooded in from fans and celebrities soon after.
A Journey Shared with Fans
Rohit, the actor best known for his portrayal of Armaan in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and Sheena initially shared news of their pregnancy on April 30. Their heartfelt post included a board that read “Mommy and Daddy. Expecting in 2025,” as they shared their gratitude for the affection that they garnered.
Sheena has been honest about her pregnancy experience, speaking about the physical and emotional difficulties she experienced. “There have been many sleepless nights, pain, and discomfort,” she posted in one of her posts, as well as relating how much fun they were having as they got ready for their home and nursery.
A Double Celebration
Only days before their son’s birth on September 15, 2025, Sheena and Rohit shifted to their new dream home—a milestone they were keen on sharing with followers. The two met on the sets of Arjun and dated for a period of six years before exchanging vows at a dreamy Jaipur wedding on January 22, 2019.
Now that they are welcoming parenthood, followers are still showering them with blessings and love.
