Sudhanshu Pandey, a veteran actor with more than two decades of experience in the small screen, made his mark playing Vanraj Shah in the hit show Anupama. Though Sudhanshu has had a long career, Anupama was his first daily soap and he owes the show to be a game-changer in his career. Looking back, Sudhanshu revealed that the show was a blessing for him in the sense that it helped him progress both as an actor and as a person.
Stepping out of Anupama – A Toughest Choice
During an open interview, Sudhanshu spoke about the emotional process of exiting the show. He stressed that in life, one has to leave some things behind and go forward, and though it may be painful mentally, it is something one must do in order to grow. Nevertheless, he called his experience on Anupama “fantastic” and enjoyed the role of playing Vanraj Shah. Not only did the show teach him much, but it also cemented his position as an actor in the industry.

Announcement and Clarification on Leaving
Sudhanshu resorted to social media to publicly announce his exit from Anupama, making sure that his fans were aware of the fact ahead of time. He wanted to be answerable to his audience and inform them of the change, so they would not be surprised when the character of Vanraj Shah would no longer appear on the show. He also discussed the rumors being spread about his departure, advising people not to believe them. His four years at Anupama were unforgettable, and he would always hold the experience close to his heart, Sudhanshu asserted.
Having Good Relationships
Sudhanshu also talked about his equation with co-star Rupali Ganguly, mentioning that they have a wonderful connection and had a heart-to-heart talk recently, making sure everything is okay between them. This is a positive note as he is about to shift to newer opportunities.
