They had left the region just hours before the tragedy unfolded. Concerned followers flooded their social media after seeing pictures and videos of their trip, including a clip Dipika had posted of herself walking in Pahalgam just two days earlier.

Shoaib took to Instagram to calm worried fans. “Hi guys, you all have been concerned for our well-being… We are safe. We left Kashmir this morning and reached Delhi safely… Thank you for all the concern,” he wrote in his Instagram Story.
Backlash Over Insensitive Vlog Promotion
However, Shoaib’s mention of an upcoming vlog in the same post drew sharp criticism online. Many netizens felt that promoting content amidst such a massive tragedy was insensitive and tone-deaf. The post quickly went viral on Reddit, where users condemned the timing.
