Vivian Dsena, a familiar face in the TV world, recently competed in Bigg Boss 18 and reached the finale. While he had been approached for the show several times in earlier seasons, this year was when he finally decided to take the plunge. In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Vivian said that he became a part of Bigg Boss to step out of his norm and challenge himself out of his comfort zone.

I led a routine life. I used to shoot a daily soap, complete it, and return home. There was nothing taxing. Bigg Boss was the only thing that would make me venture out of my comfort zone,” he revealed. Vivian went on to describe that his wife urged him to do this because it would develop him creatively and open up new avenues beyond the daily soap genre.

The Emotional Aspect of Bigg Boss*
Vivian also shared about the emotional struggle he had while on the show. Being away from his family for so long was especially tough for him. “It’s tough for everyone, not only for me. For anyone who is away from their loved ones, especially when communication is limited,” he admitted. The actor confessed that his worst nightmare was being isolated from his family and friends, with no phone access during his stay in the house.

Appreciation for Fans and Upcoming Projects
In spite of all this, Vivian said he was grateful for the massive love he had received after Bigg Boss. “I am really thankful to have such nice fans and viewers, particularly after Bigg Boss,” he expressed. He also appreciated the singular chance the show presented for him to connect with more people. Looking back at his career, Vivian assured his fans that his new show would be better than the previous one, and he felt Bigg Boss had raised more interest in him outside his TV work.
