Speaking about PADMAN, Akki said, “PADMAN speaks about sanitary pads which is a big taboo subject, much bigger than what is in TOILET…. It is a very sad thing that 91 percent of Indian women don’t use pads because they cannot afford it.”
“At home I have my wife, daughter, mother-in-law and my wife’s grandmother. So I am all surrounded by women. I get a lot of inspiration from them to work on subject like PADMAN,” Akshay ends.
