Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was at his humble best after winning the most prestigious honour the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his film HAPPY NEW YEAR.

He said, “One thing I would like to tell you very honestly that I feel glad when such great people present here (at the event) appreciate your work and the kind of love my fans, media & audience has given me, I don’t think I am capable of reciprocating it the same way. I never thought I can do such good work.”

SRK, who has won copious awards and honours in his career spanning more than two decades, further added, “Whenever I win awards, I feel I am undeserving. The only thing you feel when you get an award is that you want to work harder. And I promise to work harder and entertain you as long as I live. Thank you for making me the star I am.”
