If everything goes as per plans, year 2013 will go down as one of the best in recent times for the countless fans of actor perfectionist, Aamir Khan. And the reason is the probable release of not one (as is mostly the norm with the over choosy Khan!) but two highly anticipated and high profile big-budget releases in the form of Yash Raj’s DHOOM 3 and Rajkumar Hirani‘s next.

While it has officially been confirmed that Yash Raj Films’ DHOOM:3 is all set to roll in May 2012 and that Aamir Khan will join the shoot in June, and the film will see a year 2013 release.

The next project (after 3 IDIOTS) that actor par excellence Aamir Khan and maverick director, Rajkumar Hirani, are working upon is titled P.K. (as per media reports). The film deals with the topical subject of Godmen and the total faith and utter devotion that a large section of people in India bestow upon them. The director plans to launch the film this September and it stars Anushka Sharma besides of course, Aamir Khan.
Well, given the fact that the last Aamir-Hirani project, 3 IDIOTS, netted a record breaking 202 crores (the only film to cross the 200 crore barrier), a record that is still intact, the excitement and buzz that their next venture in generating, is understandable!
