After I AM KALAM Nila Madhab Panda’s JALPARI in Lucas International Children’s Film Festival

Nila Madhab Panda’s second feature film JALPARI – (THE DESERT MERMAID), which is produced by Sushil Kumar Agrawal of Ultra Distributors Pvt. Ltd., will have its world premiere at the 35th Lucas International Children’s Film Festival in Frankfurt, Germany.

The festival runs through September 2-9, 2012. JALPARI will hit theatres in India on 31st August, 2012. It is an adventure thriller based on the issue of female foeticide. Panda’s first feature film I AM KALAM won the Best Feature Film award at the Lucas International Children’s Film Festival in 2010. JALPARI had its market premiere in Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.
