The makers of BHAJATHE RAHO are wrapping up the film’s shooting this weekend. Shot prominently in Delhi, the ensemble affair went on floors just a few weeks back and director Shashant Shah made sure that it took less than 40 shooting days before bringing the film to post production.

”The film’s shoot has now concluded with a song sequence and brief talkie portion,” informs our source, ”A good part has been shot in a sprawling farm house at Chhattarpur, Delhi. Entire principle cast, including Tusshar Kapoor, Vishakha Singh, Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey, Ravi Kishan and Dolly Ahluwalia along with a horde of other well-known character artists participated in the shoot.”
The song sequence is centered on a wedding in progress and has an Indian flavour to it with a hint of Arabic influence and Japanese touch-points.

”With entire cast being together, it was a lot of fun both on and off the camera. The night shoot further charged up the entire atmosphere. Since Vinay, Ranvir and Shashant known each for more than a decade, courtesy their stint together in the world of television, it was a full-on fun ‘mahaul’,” adds Krishika Lulla, the film’s producer, ”Now we are back in Mumbai and head straight into post production.”
With a Delhi setting to it, BHAJATHE RAHO is being pitched as a mad comical affair with numerous real life situations and witty one liner peppering the narrative. An Eros production, the film is being planned for 19th July release.
