It was recently (read September 1, 2013), that the cast of HAPPY NEW YEAR including actors Shahrukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Deepika Padukone, Sonu Sood and Vivan Shah started shooting for the first schedule of director Farah Khan’s much-delayed film in Dubai.

While the SRK-Deepika starrer HNY, which was proposed even before OM SHANTI OM, took long time to finalize and embark its first schedule, it seems, wrapped-up in a jiffy. The entire team after wrapping up their shoot in Dubai left for Mumbai. The HAPPY NEW YEAR team – Farah Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood and Boman Irani also expressed their unhappiness over leaving Dubai so soon and immediately hit on the social networking site to share their feelings.
While director Farah Khan posted ”And its a schedule wrap!thank u Atlantis hotel n Dubai 4 making it so smoothly possible! Will miss Atlantis..it was our home,r studio n r playground since a month!thank u Serge,ashley,Andrea,maraika,Anne n all who made it happen,” actor Shahrukh Khan wrote, ”Leaving Atlantis.Feels like leaving home. Thanx Surge,Andrea &everyone. We will miss u lots. Forget the world class hospitality, u gave love.”
”Schedule wrap. The team heads back home. We will miss Dubai, especially the people. Thank you for all the love. #happynewyear,” posted actor Abhishek Bachchan on his micro-blogging site.
Well, we just hope the team re-unites real soon for their second schedule and completes the film!
