The latest episode of Bigg Boss 18 brought a storm of emotions as the house saw a double elimination after the shocking mid-week exit of Digvijay Rathee. In the December 22 episode, Yamini Malhotra and Edin Rose were evicted, leaving the housemates in shock, especially Kashish Kapoor, who was visibly devastated by their exit.
Kashish was particularly affected by Edin Rose’s elimination. As Edin bid an emotional goodbye, Kashish broke down and expressed her disappointment, saying: “Is this a bloody joke? 50 din ke baad mere ko koi achha laga tha iss ghar mein. Everybody is a snake.”
(“After 50 days, I found someone I liked in this house. Everybody is a snake.”)
Kashish’s feelings for Edin had grown over time, and her frustration was evident as she vented to Rajat Dalal and Sara Arfeen Khan after the eviction. She harshly criticized Chahat and Eisha, claiming they added little value to the house.
She stated: “Chaahat kya karti hai ghar mei, Saala nikalo usko. Kya karti hai Eisha, Avinash mein ghusne ke alawa? Nikalo usko. Edin ki galti thi kya ghar mein koi ladka nahi bacha hai ghusne ke liye. Yamini ki galti hai kya usne serial nahi kiya 10 saal.”
Despite the drama, the evicted contestants, Yamini and Edin, expressed gratitude to Bigg Boss for the opportunity. Their fellow housemates made the goodbye moments heartfelt:
Karan carried Yamini on his back, recreating a moment from a past task.
Avinash lifted Yamini in his arms as a show of support
Fans have taken to social media to share mixed reactions to the double eviction. While some agreed with Kashish’s sentiments about Chaahat and Eisha, others felt she was overreacting. Kashish’s outburst has sparked debates, with viewers questioning whether Edin and Yamini deserved to go over other contestants.
