Veteran actor Suniel Shetty and his wife Mana Shetty are celebrating a big milestone today 42 years of marriage. The couple, who have been together for over four decades, continues to inspire with their love, and Suniel marked the occasion with two beautiful pictures that are setting major couple goals.
Sharing a heartfelt Instagram post, Suniel gave a glimpse of their journey together. The first picture is from the back. The couple walks hand in hand through a garden; after all these years, they are still walking side by side. That tells us how deeply connected they are. The second one captures the couple climbing up the stairs hand in hand to depict their shared journey and the support for one another. Suniel’s caption read only “Happy 42nd anniversary to us wifey.”.
Joining the couple in the celebrations, Suniel’s daughter Athiya Shetty also showered appreciation for her parents’ love. She termed her parents as her “definition of love” and wished her parents on social media sharing a beautiful monochrome photo of the engagement ceremony; wherein Mana is seen fixing the ring on Suniel’s finger. The little message was added, “My definition of love. Happy Anniversary!”
Fans and well-wishers flooded the post with warm messages, celebrating the couple’s enduring love. Athiya’s sweet comment with a heart emoji further reflected the love and respect the family shares.
In an earlier interview on comedian Bharti Singh’s podcast, Suniel Shetty had opened up about the initial disapproval his mother had regarding his relationship with Mana. Despite his mother’s opposition, Suniel remained adamant about marrying Mana, stating that he could not marry anyone else as it would impact his life and the life of another woman. His conviction paid off, and the two married on December 25, 1991, after being in a relationship for nine years.
Suniel and Mana Shetty welcomed their daughter Athiya in 1992 and their son Ahan in 1995, which means they are a really close-knit family. Through their 42 years of relationship, they will still be an inspiring example for the world to see about love, patience, and commitment.
