The Bollywood heartthrob uploaded the moment from his nostalgic and celebration-filled visit back to his former college on his Instagram account.
His Instagram post, captioned, “From sitting in the backbench to standing on the stage for my convocation – what a journey it’s been,” captured the essence of his emotional return. He added heartfelt gratitude to DY Patil University, his mentors, and the students for their support, humorously noting the long wait for his degree: “Only took over a decade!
Kartik wore a customized college jersey jacket while speaking to a packed auditorium full of excited students. The most memorable part of the evening was when he suddenly started dancing on stage to the title track of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, creating an unforgettable moment for his fans.
Nostalgic Moments and Emotional Bonds
Video shared by the actor showed a walk-through of the campus where he remembered his college days as he interacted warmly with his former teachers and students. Kartik even went on to sign the college board, which will be a permanent reminder of the visit. A very emotional moment where Kartik pointed out a spot on campus and recalled, “I used to put water here, just like a water boy,” a reminder of his humble beginnings.
