One of the most memorable moments was Kareena Kapoor’s emotional tribute to her grandfather-the legendary actor-director Raj Kapoor.
In the limelight on March 9, Kareena Kapoor paid an elegant tribute to Raj Kapoor’s evergreen legacy. Her engaging performance brings Raj back to everyone, taking them to the golden age of Bollywood, with incredible dance steps to Raj Kapoor’s famous songs. She stunned the audience with the all-time favorite “Mera Joota Hai Japani” and then returned for the haunting “Pyaar Hua Ikraar Hua.”

Her elegant act won her accolades from fans, who filled social media with messages praising her. The official Instagram account of IIFA posted a video of Kareena’s act, which received tremendous appreciation from fans of the star. One wrote, “The best successor of Raj Kapoor paying tribute to him.” Another said, “Raj Kapoor would have been proud of his granddaughter.”
