Actress and singer Emily Osment, who starred in Disney’s *Hannah Montana*, has quickly finalized her divorce from Jack Anthony, now formally referred to as Jack Farina. Only a week after filing for divorce, the five-month-old couple has come to an amicable agreement. The process has been easy, thanks to a prenuptial agreement that the couple had signed.
Prenuptial Agreement Ensures Easy Settlement
The divorce process is going on smoothly without any serious issues. Emily Osment and Jack Farina both waived their rights to claim spousal support, and they have entered into a confidential marriage settlement agreement. As the couple did not have any children, there are no custody or child support issues, and the process can go on smoothly.
In a tell-all to TMZ, Emily had this to say about the choice: “I think with any big decision in your life, whether it’s relationships or work or whatever it may be, you have to firmly plant both feet in that decision. Ultimately, it didn’t work out.”
A Short-Lived Marriage
Emily Osment sought a divorce on grounds of irreconcilable differences and the date of separation was reported as December 7, 2024, barely two months after they exchanged vows in their October 2024 wedding. The couple was able to sustain the proceedings friendly despite the relatively short time for which they had been married. Emily’s actor brother Haley Joel Osment had served as one of the ceremony’s groomsman.
Even though a judge has not yet signed off on the divorce, the pair seems to be getting on with their lives, having resolved the issue in private and quickly.
