Sunny Deol unleashes his fury! ‘Dhai Kilo Ka Haath’ is back to bring down Randeep Hooda’s Lanka in Jaat Trailer

The trailer for Jaat, the upcoming action film directed by Gopichand Malineni, was released on Monday, offering a glimpse into the high-stakes world of this mass action thriller. Featuring Sunny Deol in the titular role and Randeep Hooda as the antagonist, the trailer introduces audiences to a tense, gritty world. Randeep Hooda’s character runs the notorious “Ranatunga ki Lanka,” a place where fear reigns and justice is nowhere to be found. The discovery of numerous bodies buried in a field leads to the involvement of Saiyami Kher’s character, a police officer determined to bring justice.

However, the arrival of Sunny Deol’s character, hinted to have a past involving time in prison, changes the tide. Described as an “atom bomb” by Upendra Limaye’s character, Sunny’s character is set to dismantle Randeep’s hold over the region. In the climactic moment, Sunny delivers a powerful line: “Ye dhai kilo ke haath ki taakat pura north dekh chuka hain. Ab south dekhega,” solidifying his role as the mass hero.

Audience Reactions and Comparisons

The trailer has been well-received, with fans praising the mass appeal, punchy dialogues, and intense background score, composed by Thaman S. While some are excited about the film’s energy, others have raised the possibility that the script may have initially been written for another superstar, Balakrishna. Reddit users speculated about this, comparing the film’s tone and style to the one often associated with the Telugu star.

Cast and Crew

Apart from Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda, Jaat also stars Saiyami Kher, Regena Cassandra, Viineet Kumar Singh, Babloo Prithiveeraj, Ramya Krishnan, and Swarupa Ghosh in key roles. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, the film is set to release in theatres on April 10, 2025.

With its mass appeal, action-packed sequences, and star power, Jaat is poised to be a major hit with fans of intense thrillers.
