Bigg Boss OTT fame actress Manisha Rani has come out strongly against the shocking trend of content creators trivializing the gory Meerut m*rder case. In a video posted on her Instagram, now going viral, Manisha vented her ire over reels and songs that have been ridiculing the ghastly incident, particularly pointing towards a Bhojpuri song that made light of the case.
Calls Out Bhojpuri Song Mocking the Tragedy
Specifically referring to a song called Drum Mein Raja, Manisha condemned the Bhojpuri music video and the people who made it. The song mentions the “blue drum” that is used in the crime and makes it a laughing stock. “I viewed the video. It was a music video of a Bhojpuri music channel. You should be ashamed of creating such a video on such a serious topic.”. A person’s life has been lost, and you are joking about it,” she stated sternly.

Calls for Action Against Insensitive Material
Extremely distressed by the non-empathy reflected in the viral videos, Manisha spoke further, saying, “The mother of the deceased would understand how she will feel watching all these videos. It’s really heart-wrenching.” She called upon the government to make strict decisions to ban such channels and requested audiences to block and report such material. “There seems to be no humanity any longer,” she continued. “You people are human beings but where is humanity?”
Fans Praise Manisha’s Strength of Character
Manisha’s emotional appeal has found universal support from her fans and followers, who cheered her for raising a sensitive and critical point. Most people supported her demand for action, condemning the producers of such callous content and urging greater sense of responsibility on social media.
