Excitement around Don 3 continues to soar, especially with a potential big casting update. While Kiara Advani was originally locked in to play the female lead opposite Ranveer Singh, reports now suggest that Kriti Sanon is the frontrunner to step into the iconic role of Roma after Kiara stepped away due to her pregnancy.
As per a report by Pinkvilla, Kriti has agreed in principle to join the action thriller directed by Farhan Akhtar and is expected to sign the contract in the next two weeks. A source close to the project revealed, “Farhan Akhtar and the Excel Entertainment team were keen on casting an actress with strong screen presence, and Kriti fits the bill perfectly. She has the aura and charisma required for the role of Roma.”

Filming to Begin by End of 2025
Don 3 is expected to begin filming in October or November 2025. The film will be shot extensively in Europe, with the location scouting already complete. The source also mentioned that Farhan is collaborating with an international stunt team to design high-octane action sequences. The script is locked, with only minor polishing left before full-fledged pre-production kicks off.

While Kriti’s casting hasn’t been officially confirmed, she is clearly the top choice now. Earlier reports hinted that Bunty Aur Babli 2 actress Sharvari was also in consideration.
