Shah Rukh Khan has joined the nation in mourning the horrific terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, that claimed the lives of nearly 27 innocent tourists. The actor took to his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday to express his sorrow and outrage over the inhumane act of violence.
In his emotional post, SRK wrote:
“Words fail to express the sadness and anger at the treachery and inhumane act of violence that has occurred in Pahalgam. In times like these, one can only turn to God and say a prayer for the families that suffered and express my deepest condolences. May we as a Nation, stand united, strong and get justice against this heinous act.”

Details of the Terror Attack
The terror strike occurred on Tuesday afternoon when Lashkar-e-Taiba-linked terrorists opened fire on a group of Hindu tourists at Baisaran Meadows near Pahalgam. Eyewitnesses described how two to three men dressed in military uniforms began shooting indiscriminately at people riding horseback, enjoying their vacation. The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of Lashkar, claimed responsibility for the gruesome attack. Emergency forces rushed to the area and launched a large-scale manhunt to track down the perpetrators.

SRK wasn’t the only voice from the film industry expressing grief.
