The long-awaited Housefull 5, headlined by Akshay Kumar, has finally released its official poster, declaring a release on June 6, 2025. Famed for its crazy humor and star-studded cast, the fifth installment of the massy comedy series is guaranteed to be “five times the laughter and madness.”
Acting alongside Akshay in the multi-star cast are Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, and many more. The teaser begins with the cast having fun on board a plush cruise boat, but things go haywire when a murder spoils the party, signaling the start of a crazy and comedy-filled ride.

Completing 15 years since the franchise started in 2010, Housefull is India’s sole comedy franchise to have achieved a fifth instalment. Though the first one was directed by Sajid Khan, Tarun Mansukhani directs this latest instalment. With chartbuster tracks, hair-raising turns, and out-and-out entertainment, Housefull 5 will be a summer blockbuster.
Made by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film will hit theatres across the globe.
Meanwhile, Akshay Shines in Kesari Chapter 2
Akshay Kumar is also receiving accolades for his performance in Kesari Chapter 2, opposite R Madhavan and Ananya Panday. The court drama is a spiritual follow-up to his 2019 blockbuster Kesari and continues to receive good support from the audience.
