Telugu superstar Nani’s latest release, HIT: The Third Case, has taken the box office by storm with an explosive opening. Released alongside heavyweights like Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 and Suriya’s Retro, HIT 3 still emerged as the top performer. The crime thriller earned an impressive Rs 21 crore net on Day 1, marking the biggest opening for any film in the HIT franchise.
Solid Numbers on Day 2
According to early estimates from Sacnilk, the film continued its strong run on Day 2, raking in Rs 10 crore, bringing its total two-day collection to Rs 31 crore net in India. The Telugu version alone contributed Rs 20.25 crore on its opening day, while dubbed versions in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam brought in smaller but notable figures.

Occupancy Rates Reflect Strong Word of Mouth
HIT 3 recorded an impressive overall occupancy of 52.27% in Telugu-speaking regions on Day 2. Morning shows started at 34%, but momentum built throughout the day with evening shows hitting over 54%, and night shows peaking at 66.05%. Cities like Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Warangal, Guntur, and Chennai witnessed strong audience turnout.
Nani’s Powerful Performance and Gripping Plot Connect with Viewers
Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film follows Arjun Sarkaar, a gritty police officer transferred to Jammu and Kashmir to investigate a brutal serial killing spree. Nani’s intense performance has been a key driver behind the film’s roaring success.
