The wait is finally over for Aamir Khan fans! The first look poster of Sitaare Zameen Par was released on May 5, 2025, and the official release date was announced as June 20, 2025. Directed by R.S. Prasanna, the movie promises a fun mix of comedy, heart, and celebration of individuality.
A day prior to the poster release, Prasanna had teased fans with a mysterious post saying, “Ready to meet the Sitaare?” The unveiling has now created huge buzz on social media.

Aamir Khan is seen in the top portion of the poster, while the bottom half presents a vibrant, active group in silly poses as if this is going to be a fun, mischievous tale to follow. The image presents other hints such as a basketball net, stars, and a racetrack, indicating sports and friendship. There’s one particular picture where Aamir’s fed-up, sitting with his arm on a basketball, and there are so many high-energy, offbeat characters surrounding him.

Aamir Khan once told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview about Sitaare Zameen Par that it was a “beautiful story.” Although it has the same spirit as Taare Zameen Par, a heart-wrenching movie, this new film is also light-hearted and humorous. It delves into the lives of individuals with special abilities and promotes diversity through laughter and love.
