First Look: ‘Kingdom’
Leading the lineup is Kingdom, an intense spy thriller directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri. In the first image, Vijay is seen in a gritty new avatar, sporting a buzz cut with a beard and moustache, setting the tone for what promises to be a high-stakes action film. He stars opposite Bhagyashri Borse. Initially scheduled for release on March 28, Kingdom will now hit theatres on May 30. Produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, the film’s latest promo includes an AI-designed video for the song Hridayam Lopala, showcasing a tender love story between the lead characters.

Mystery and Myth in ‘VD14’
Next up is VD14, directed by Rahul Sankrityan and set during the British colonial era. The poster features Vijay Deverakonda in a mystic hermit look, meditating in front of an altar. The film’s first glimpse was released on his birthday this year and has already sparked immense curiosity. The project was officially announced on January 26, 2024.
