The 51-year-old star took to Instagram to share the news, urging her followers to stay vigilant and take the necessary precautions. “Hey everyone! I’ve tested positive for COVID. Please stay safe and don’t forget to wear your masks!

She wrote. Her revelation was met with an outpouring of goodwill from fans and celebrities alike, including Sonakshi Sinha, who posted, “Oh no!!! Take care Shilpaaa… wishing you a speedy recovery.”

Shilpa’s diagnosis follows just a few months since her amazing physical makeover turned heads on the internet. Between October 2024 and January 2025, she had undergone a remarkable weight loss journey, proudly posting her before-and-after pictures. Her fans praised her commitment, labeling her journey as “motivational” and evidence that it’s never too late to change.
