TV actress Dipika Kakar, who is popularly known for playing a character in Sasural Simar Ka, is on the road to recovery after being operated on for stage 2 liver cancer. Her husband and actor Shoaib Ibrahim posted a good health report in his vlog, which revealed that Dipika has been shifted out of the ICU after surgery on June 3. The actress is still in the hospital but is recovering, giving relief to her family and well-wishers.
Shoaib’s sister Saba Ibrahim also introduced fans to the family’s recent activities in her vlog. She shared glimpses of her newborn son’s Aqeeqah ceremony, which was conducted prior to Dipika’s hospitalization. Saba confirmed that it was tough time for the family, particularly during Dipika’s surgery, and described it as one of the most challenging weeks of their lives. She extended warm thanks to fans and followers for prayer and support through the tough time.

Saba confirmed that Dipika’s operation was successful and has spoken with her after the procedure. Still, because of the severity of the condition and the possibility of infection, Dipika will have to stay under strict precaution at home when she is discharged. She will not be able to move around much or join family gatherings.

The Ibrahim family has thus opted for going low-key with future celebrations. Even though this Eid was their baby’s first, they avoided the gala. The baby’s naming ceremony will also be done in a low-key and private way, considering Dipika’s health.
The recovery journey of Dipika continues, but the hopeful updates and well-wishes from her loved ones indicate hopefulness and resilience as she recovers.
