The Real Reason Behind Allu Arjun’s Sudden Exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Project Revealed

Telugu superstar Allu Arjun has reportedly been removed from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film, according to a new report by Siasat.com. The project, which was said to have been signed last year, has now allegedly been put on indefinite hold, with Jr NTR being considered as Arjun’s replacement. While there is no official confirmation from the makers or the actors involved, the development has already sparked considerable speculation in the industry.

This news follows closely on the heels of another casting shake-up by Vanga, who reportedly ousted Deepika Padukone from Prabhas’ upcoming film Spirit. Reports claim the actress’ demands such as an eight-hour workday, a high salary, and a share in the film’s profits did not align with the director’s expectations. Deepika, who recently embraced motherhood, is reportedly trying to maintain a work-life balance by limiting her working hours.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Vanga indirectly addressed the controversy surrounding Deepika. Without naming her directly, he accused the actress of playing “dirty PR games” and betraying professional trust. “There is an unsaid NDA between us,” he wrote. “But by doing this, you’ve ‘DISCLOSED’ the person that you are… Putting down a younger actor and ousting my story? Is this what your feminism stands for?” Vanga’s cryptic post stirred intense online debate.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun has his hands full with other major projects. He is all set to star opposite Deepika Padukone in director Atlee’s next big-ticket film, tentatively titled AA22xA6. Contrary to earlier rumours about a two-hero setup, Arjun’s team confirmed that the actor will be seen in dual roles, adding to the film’s intrigue. The project is expected to begin production in mid-2025, with a theatrical release slated for 2026.
