Bollywood actress Genelia D’Souza is all set to return to the big screen with her upcoming film Sitare Zameen Par, in which she stars opposite Aamir Khan. As part of the promotional campaign, Genelia recently opened up about her shooting routine and the demands of being on set.
Genelia on Long Working Hours
In an interview with Zoom, Genelia revealed that she works up to 10 hours a day on average while shooting. She said, “It is difficult but not impossible. I work 10 hours every day and sometimes the director extends the shoot to 11 or 12 hours, which I find okay. Yes, it requires a little adjustment, but if one has to work more on some day, then it is a sense and part of the process.”

Her comments come at a time when work schedules have become a major topic of conversation in Bollywood, especially after actress Deepika Padukone was reportedly dropped from the film Spirit. According to sources, Deepika had asked for an 8-hour shift, a share in profits, and requested not to speak Telugu dialogues conditions that led director Sandeep Reddy Vanga to replace her with Animal star Tripti Dimri.
