Global icon Jennifer Lopez made headlines recently during her trip to Istanbul, Turkey, not for a concert—but because she was denied access into one of the Chanel stores. The Let’s Get Loud artist, who is performing across Europe and Asia as part of her Up All Night summer tour, was stopped at Chanel’s Istinye Park boutique, an upscale shopping complex.
As per a report filed by The Indian Express and Turkiye Today, Lopez wore a baby-pink outfit complete with oversized matching sunglasses when she tried to gain entry into the upscale shop. Security supposedly told her that the boutique was packed and she was refused entry. It’s rumored that the staff at the time didn’t recognize her. J.Lo graciously replied, “Okay, no problem,” and politely walked off without making a scene. When the workers realized their error, they allegedly attempted to welcome her back in, but the singer rejected their offer. Instead, she shopped at other high-end stores such as Celine and Beymen, allegedly spending tens of thousands of dollars.
Lopez Continues Her Birthday Celebrations in Style
Jennifer is just in Turkey for her 19-city Up All Night tour, which started in Spain on July 8 and concludes on August 10 in Kazakhstan. She even had a glamorous detour in Egypt during her birthday week, posting sultry bikini pics and celebration moments from her trip on Instagram Stories.

On July 31, she shared a dramatic picture of herself lounging in a black string bikini, embracing life and her birthday on July 24. From dancing next to a giant birthday cake to fireworks and mirror selfie, J.Lo once again showed everyone that she has a knack for making a moment unforgettable.
After the tour, she will continue performances for her Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace in December 2025.
