Actor Karan Veer Mehra visited Shehnaaz Gill in the hospital a few days ago and posted on social media for fans to pray for her early recovery. Speaking with Times of India, Karan explained that Shehnaaz had been hospitalised after suffering from food poisoning that needed quick medical intervention.
Bigg Boss 18 winner Karan Veer Mehra explained that Shehnaaz had been out partying with him and some friends the previous night before she was admitted. She was not well the next day,” he told us. “It was food poisoning. Although it was not serious, food poisoning can be serious, so as a precaution, the doctors suggested hospitalisation.” He added that although Shehnaaz was not herself when he went to visit her, she is recovering well with rest and medication.
Shehnaaz herself gave a glimpse of her health status by posting an Instagram Story video, which was then shared by Telly Chakkar. She had spoken in the video about having low blood pressure and on a glucose drip, which caused concern and good wishes from her fans.
This is not the first time Shehnaaz has struggled with health issues. Almost two years ago, while promoting Thank You For Coming, she was hospitalised because of a severe food infection. From her hospital bed in Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, she went live on Instagram to calm fans over her recovery.

Karan Veer Mehra, whose television and OTT career has seen several shows in the likes of Remix, Pavitra Rishta, and Havan, has strengthened his TV and OTT stints. His victory on Bigg Boss 18 gave him a higher profile.
Shehnaaz, who has become popular from Bigg Boss, was recently featured in the comedy movie Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.
