Sharing on Instagram, Kareena Kapoor shared cute pictures of her son, Taimur Ali Khan, praying in front of Lord Ganesha. In her caption, she remembered how the Kapoor family’s Ganpati celebrations used to be special in her childhood, and now these rituals are being transferred to her kids. “I remember, as a kid, the Kapoor family Ganpati used to be special, just the way we celebrated all other festivals… Now, my kids look forward to it as well… Ganpati Bappa Morya! Shower us all with love and peace forever from all of us,” she wrote.

Kareena also remembered a very sweet memory in 2020, when the pandemic kept gatherings low-key. In that year, Taimur shocked all of us by creating a Ganpati idol using colourful Lego blocks. Kareena posted a poignant photograph of the little boy praying in front of his self-created Lego Ganesh, with Lego figures of himself and his parents arranged in front of the idol. The fans were impressed by the imagination and innocence, and the picture went viral and rang with “Ganpati Bappa Morya” on social media.
