More than a year since she broke up with Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez still maintains a tight relationship with his children. Recently, the talented actress was spotted having a fun shopping spree in Beverly Hills with her 17-year-old daughter, Emme, and Affleck’s 13-year-old son, Samuel, whom he shares with ex-spouse Jennifer Garner.
Lopez, 56, made heads turn in a sophisticated outfit — a white long-sleeved top crop tucked into black pants, stilettos, a cap, and tinted sunglasses. She completed her look with a chic Christian Dior tote bag. The three were seen looking at shoes together, with JLo assisting Samuel in choosing a pair before going into a Balenciaga store.
A Love Story That Came Full Circle
Jennifer and Ben’s romance initially hit the news in the early 2000s. They got engaged in 2002 but broke up in 2004. Almost two decades down the line, the couple rekindled their love, with their second engagement declared in April 2022. Only a few months later, the couple wed in a private ceremony in Las Vegas. Their rekindled romance was short-lived, though. Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024, and the breakup was finalized in February 2025.
Redirecting to Career and Fresh Starts
Following the breakup, Lopez has been completely invested in her career. She is presently headlining her “Up All Night Tour: Live in 2025”, which has toured around the world. An insider close to the performer confirmed she is loving reconnecting with supporters and embracing this new era of independence.

JLo is also preparing for the October 10 release of Kiss of the Spider Woman, a musical drama film directed by Bill Condon.
