Telugu cinema’s beloved couple, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi, have entered a beautiful new phase of their lives — parenthood. The duo welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on September 10, 2025.
Heartfelt Announcement on Instagram
Varun took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the joyous news with fans. Posting a tender monochrome photo from the hospital, where Lavanya cradles their newborn while Varun lovingly looks on, he captioned it: “Our little man 10.09.2025.”
The post was met with an outpouring of love and congratulations from fans and celebrities alike. Among those who responded were Upasana Konidela, director Venky Atluri, and many others from the film industry.
Chiranjeevi Shares His Joy
Adding to the celebration, Varun’s uncle and Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi shared his own moment with the newborn. Posting a heartwarming picture of himself holding the baby while Varun looks on proudly, he wrote:
“Welcome to the world, little one! A hearty welcome to the newborn baby boy in the Konidela family.”
He also congratulated the proud parents and grandparents, writing,
“So happy for Nagababu and Padmaja, who are now promoted to proud grandparents. May your love and blessings always surround our child.”
A Love Story That Blossomed On-Screen
Varun and Lavanya’s journey began on the sets of their 2017 film Mister, where they are believed to have first met. The couple kept their relationship private for years before getting engaged in June 2023 and tying the knot in a dreamy Telugu ceremony in Tuscany, Italy, in November 2023.
In May 2025, the couple announced their pregnancy with a sweet post featuring baby booties — and now, their little bundle of joy has arrived.
