Huma Qureshi is creating ripples both on and off the screen. As her new film Bayaan had its world premiere at the coveted Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2025, news has emerged that the actress has now got engaged to her long-time suspected boyfriend, acting coach Rachit Singh.
As reported in Hindustan Times, a close source to the couple shared that the two are indeed engaged. Although neither Huma nor Rachit have made any announcements about it officially, their latest sightings together and discreet social media cues have only helped fuel the rumors.
A Sweet But Subtle Confirmation
The engagement buzz started after singer Akasa, a mutual friend, posted a candid photo with the couple, captioned, “Congratulations on your little piece of heaven with the best name, Huma. Had the best night.” The post was quickly picked up by fans and media, sparking engagement rumours that are yet to be officially denied.
Adding fuel to the rumor, Rachit Singh has been spotted on multiple occasions with Huma and her brother, Saqib Saleem, mostly at family functions and industry events. He was also spotted partying at the opening of Gauri Khan’s premium restaurant, Torii, where Huma posted a few pictures with him.
