In the recent episode, fans saw a tender moment of music composer Amaal Mallik, who got teary-eyed after a heart-tugging conversation with co-contestant Baseer Ali.
The incident came after a prank in a past episode when Amaal and Shehbaz playfully concealed the necessary household items—sugar, salt, and personal items like Baseer’s towel and clothes. While Shehbaz came out to own up and apologize later, Amaal remained quiet at the moment.
In last week’s episode, Amaal finally confessed to Baseer, taking responsibility for his actions and apologizing genuinely. “Ek baar dekh kar sach mein maaf kar dena,” he had said, clearly crying. Baseer, shocked, confessed that he hadn’t expected such conduct from Amaal, a friend of his.
In the dramatic voting session, Baseer voiced his pain, explaining he was left feeling totally disappointed when not a single contestant—not even Amaal—voted to save him. “Ek vote bhi nahi aaya merko saving mein,” he shared, his statements apparently having a deep impact on Amaal.
Overwhelmed with remorse and despondency, Amaal burst into tears uncontrollably, exposing a naked and vulnerable side seldom witnessed from him, particularly throughout his captainship where he had been firm in the house.
Attempting to comfort him, Shehbaz and Baseer tried to reassure Amaal. “You are much stronger than this,” Baseer told him. Shehbaz chimed in, “Itna dil pe mat lo” (Don’t take it to heart). In the end, the two hugged each other tightly, with Amaal declaring, “Tu dil ke andar ke bhi andar hai.”
