JioHotstar (OTTplay Premium) has released the exciting trailer for its next Hotstar Specials crime-thriller series, ‘Search: The Naina Murder Case’. Premiering on October 10, 2025, the show boasts of talented actress Konkona Sensharma in a commanding lead role as ACP Sanyukta Das, a veteran police officer torn between duty and personal crisis.
Directed by Rohan Sippy, the show is about ACP Sanyukta Das, who is on the cusp of changing departments to mend her strained marriage. But before she can be transferred, the sensational murder of a teenage girl named Naina thrusts her back into action. The case quickly plunges into a nightmarish world of deceit, political skulduggery, and psychological gamesmanship.
Konkona’s trademark depth and introspective intensity are brought to Sanyukta, grounding the tale with emotional depth. Surya Sharma co-stars as rookie ACP Jai Kanwal, her investigation partner. Alongside her, the pair moves in a world in which each suspect possesses a hidden agenda, and nothing is as it appears.
The cast also features Shraddha Das, Varun Thakur, Dhruv Sehgal, and Shiv Panditt, all of whom play characters with secret agendas of their own.
