The newest Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss Season 19 got emotional and dramatic when contestant Tanya Mittal was left heartbroken after finding out that her housemate and good friend, Amaal Mallik, had been talking behind her back. The news was broken to Tanya by former Bigg Boss 7 champion Gauahar Khan, who was on the show as a guest and directly called out Amaal for calling Tanya “chep” (clingy).
The revelation was a tremendous blow to Tanya, who had always regarded Amaal as her best friend in the house. In recent weeks, the two had become inseparable, confiding in each other emotionally. Tanya, who clearly appeared demoralized by the betrayal, wept uncontrollably and was observed distancing herself from Amaal. She explained that she felt extremely hurt by this, considering that she had trusted him when she was weakest in the house.
Host Salman Khan spoke to the situation on his weekend show, reminding Amaal of the power of his words. Amaal did seem truly apologetic, apologizing again and again to Tanya and saying he didn’t mean to hurt her. He owned up to using bad word choice and wishing he hadn’t spoken about her behind her back. Even in apology, Tanya maintained her distance, saying that although she accepted his apology, she was still emotionally shaken.
To add to her trauma, contestants Abhishek Malhan and Harsh Gujral pranked Tanya in the same episode, playfully teasing her for being a liar—remarks which further agitated her.
