Actors Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour reunited on Thursday night at the Stranger Things Season 5 premiere in Los Angeles. The duo, who play the beloved on-screen father-daughter pair Eleven and Chief Jim Hopper, shared a warm hug and laughter on the red carpet, delighting fans with their close bond. Posing together for photos, they radiated joy as they celebrated the highly anticipated final season of the hit Netflix series.
Netflix shared a video of their reunion on social media, captioned, “David Harbour and Millie Bobby Brown arrive together for one last Stranger Things premiere .” The moment came just days after The Daily Mail reported that Brown, 20, had allegedly filed a harassment and bullying complaint against Harbour before filming began on the show’s fifth and final season.
According to the report, the complaint—filed before production started—led to a months-long internal investigation, though the claims reportedly did not involve s*xual misconduct. A source claimed Brown had “pages and pages of accusations” and that she was accompanied by a representative on set throughout filming for her comfort and safety. Representatives for Netflix, Brown, and Harbour have not yet responded to PEOPLE’s requests for comment.
Set in 1987, Stranger Things Season 5 picks up as Hawkins reels from the chaos caused by the Rifts. The gang must reunite to find and destroy Vecna, whose whereabouts remain unknown. Meanwhile, the government’s hunt for Eleven forces her back into hiding. The epic finale promises a climactic showdown as the full party stands together one last time.
