Excitement surrounding SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film with Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra has reached new heights. Tentatively titled “SSMB29” and popularly referred to as “GlobeTrotter,” the film’s official title is yet to be revealed. Adding to the anticipation, the makers have released the first song from the film — also titled GlobeTrotter.
The electrifying track, composed by Oscar-winning musician MM Keeravaani, is sung by Shruti Haasan and Kaala Bhairava, with lyrics penned by Chaitanya Prasad. Mahesh Babu unveiled the lyrical video on Monday, sharing it on social media with the caption, “The energy and vibration of #GlobeTrotter are for you all… Let’s take it a notch higher on November 15th.” The video features vivid visuals, with glimpses of Shruti Haasan performing toward the end.
Fans have been showering the song with praise across social media. One user wrote, “Shruti Haasan is INCREDIBLE in the first single from GlobeTrotter,” while another commented, “It’s sick — that drop is crazy. You can’t underestimate the Rajamouli–Keeravaani combo.” A third reaction read, “Unexpectedly good! The arrangement is fantastic — the beats hit hard with headphones.” On YouTube, fans lauded Shruti’s vocals, with one comment reading, “She absolutely cooked the entire singing community with this song.”
The much-awaited film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, whose recently unveiled first look as Kumbha set social media abuzz. To further fuel excitement, Priyanka Chopra appeared in a new promotional video, personally inviting fans to the grand reveal. “Why am I always in Hyderabad? It’s the world’s worst-kept secret. Join us on November 15 at Ramoji Film City for the big reveal,” she teased.
