Harry Styles Is Back On SNL — But This Time, He’s Running The Show

Harry Styles returns to host and perform on Saturday Night Live on March 14, just days after releasing his new album Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.

Global pop sensation Harry Styles is heading back to New York City — and this time, he’s bringing more than just new music with him. Ahead of launching his highly anticipated Together Together tour, the singer-songwriter will make a major television appearance by pulling double duty as both host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live on March 14.

The special appearance will arrive just days after the release of his fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., marking a significant moment in his evolving musical journey. The announcement instantly generated excitement among fans, especially after Styles teased the news on Instagram with a simple yet heartfelt message: “I LOVE NYC. March 14.”

This will mark the second time Styles takes on the rare challenge of serving as both host and performer on the iconic NBC sketch comedy show. He previously held the spotlight in November 2019, delivering memorable moments that showcased not only his musical talents but also his comedic timing. Before stepping out on his own, Styles had also graced the show as a musical guest alongside One Direction on three occasions, as well as once during his solo career.

This upcoming appearance will serve as a platform for Styles to introduce live performances from his brand-new album, set to drop on March 6. Speaking to Ryan Seacrest during an interview on On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Styles shared the inspiration behind his decision to release new music at this point in his career. He explained that the desire to perform again — to play music loudly in a room full of people and create a shared experience through dance and sound — became the driving force behind his return to the studio and the stage.

While the SNL appearance marks a major milestone in the album rollout, it’s only the beginning of Styles’ upcoming NYC presence. Later this year, he will return to the city for an extended residency at Madison Square Garden as part of his Together Together tour. The residency is expected to run between August and October, featuring an impressive 30-night run that will transform the iconic venue into a temporary home for his live performances. Joining him on select dates will be special guest Jamie xx.

Meanwhile, the March lineup for SNL continues to build anticipation. On March 7, Ryan Gosling is set to return as host for the fourth time, with Gorillaz appearing as the musical guest.

The long-running sketch show, created by Lorne Michaels under his Broadway Video banner, continues to be a cornerstone of late-night television. Airing at 11:30 PM on NBC, the program launched its 51st season in October 2025 with Bad Bunny serving as premiere host.

This season has also brought notable changes to the cast lineup. Veteran performers Ego Nwodim and Heidi Gardner exited alongside newer cast members, while longtime favorite Bowen Yang wrapped up his eight-year run with a farewell episode hosted by Ariana Grande.

As Styles prepares to step once again into Studio 8H, his upcoming SNL appearance promises to be more than just a promotional stop — it’s shaping up to be a defining moment in the rollout of his next musical chapter.
