Yash’s Toxic Locks Huge Tamil Nadu Distribution Deal!

Toxic secures ₹63 crore Tamil Nadu deal, reflecting strong trade confidence ahead of release.

Yash’s upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has secured a significant Tamil Nadu distribution deal, closing at an advance of ₹63 crore on a commission basis. The deal ranks among the largest in the territory in recent years and reflects strong trade confidence ahead of the film’s release.

The Tamil Nadu rollout will follow a structured multi-distributor model to ensure comprehensive statewide penetration. Chennai City will be handled by Think Studios (Swarup Reddy), Chengalpet by White Nights (Trident Ravi), while Coimbatore, North & South Arcot, Tirunelveli, and Kanyakumari territories will be managed by S Picture Srinivasan. Key circuits including Madurai & Ramnad, Trichy & Thanjavur, and Salem will be distributed by 5 Star Senthil.

Trade analysts link the scale of the deal to the sustained popularity of Yash in Tamil Nadu following the success of K.G.F: Chapter 2, which significantly expanded his market footprint across the state. The actor’s strong theatrical pull continues to translate into high pre-release valuation.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas and co-written by her and Yash, Toxic has been simultaneously shot in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned across major Indian languages. Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026.

The ensemble cast includes Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria in key roles.
